Working in a contract position providing fractional strategic services. Working with the business leadership to help build a growth strategy for their B2C product in the pet food sector.
What's involved:
Led the product team responsible for software and platforms at RealWear developing a long term strategy for success.
I worked across business units to develop a strategy and roadmap for integrating RealWear's first SaaS offering into an existing hardware business to drive increased revenue. Also delivering an App Marketplace that integrated 100's of 3rd party apps.
I also focused discovery work on the use of generative 'voice first' AI, and the integration of RealWear devices with Microsoft's AI eco system.
My key focus has been on drivers to enable product success by aligning functional groups such as sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to deliver customer goals and needs.
What's involved:
Led, built, and structured the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams from zero to a 28+ team in 18 months. Delivered zero to one design and product specifications to engineering management to build a mixed reality collaboration platform that helped frontline workers solve problems faster than ever before in the industrial workplace.
